Janhavi Acharekar is a writer, curator and creative consultant. She is the author of several books of fiction and travel, and is a contributing editor at Conde Nast Traveller India.

Janhavi is the author of the historical novel Wanderers, All, short story collection Window Seat and two children’s books. Her short stories appear in several Indian and international anthologies.

Curation
A cultural adventurer, Janhavi has curated/ co-curated the Kala Ghoda, Crossword and Celebrate Bandra litfests in Mumbai. She was the founding curator of Litmus, a multi-disciplinary litfest in Bangalore.

As a writer-in-residence and Fellow at Stiftung Künstlerdorf Schöppingen in Germany, Janhavi will speak about her work at 'Conversas' (hosted by artist Sabrina Basten), along with artist-in-residence and Fellow Rita Suveges, and historian Timothy Sodmann.
