Janhavi is a writer by day and ad person by night, and vice versa. Having spent a significant part of her career in advertising (at Lowe and FCB-Ulka, Mumbai), she has also worked in the wine industry when she was briefly based in London. An independent creative consultant since 2004, she has a dedicated set of corporate clients and continues to partner with leading ad agencies and design firms.

Janhavi's portfolio includes print, TV, web, radio and collaterals for brands such as Amul, Godrej, Captain Cook, Wipro, Ceat, Castrol, HSBC, Johnson & Johnson, ICICI, The Oberoi Group of Hotels, Idea Cellular, Park Avenue, Piramal Group, Siemens, Cleartrip among others.
